Looking to bri(8)ghter days ahead

Sunday, February 11th, 2007

Dear all,

i hope give you some pleasure to read this open notes, that the bird is singing sweetly, a song that she had dreaming in the previous night, the sun shining brightly through the window, bright enaugh so you can hang out your water-logged mattresses and the children’s school uniforms to dry.

For those of you who are still marooned, looking for a way down from the second floor or the roof, hang in there, help is on the way, it’s if the operator of the crisis center is not taking a nap.

Parents and childrens in the sheter either the one provided by the goverment or kind-heart cemetery caretakers, you are the real angels on earth, your smile and your sounds of your laughter keep up the spirit  of the media folks who are working tirelessly to cover the flood.

Ignore the bigwigs who reckon the flood was not as a big as the media made it out to be, "dont make an exagerration, dont make the situation like the doomsday, look! they could still smile", they can’t possibly understand, because it did not happen to them.

I was sad to learn that most of victims had use inflatable paddling pools to transport their children to dry land, packing bottled water to tide the until they reached to hotel, cramped in to the shelter. You are not the only one whose your neighbourhood turn in to house of horrors, so cheer up!

I like to thanks to the generous souls who supplied them with biscuits, foods, and blankets (though they have to pay afterwards), thanks to those who clogged the river and ditches with food wrapper, instant noodle, toiolets roll, I guess they would like to make the Jakarta turn in to scuba diving water.

Please don’t blame up Governor Sutiyoso, i knew that he was not sleep all the last night long, just thinking of the way for escape the blame, his replacement can sink his teeth in to something real from the outset, hi sir! slip off your crocodile-leather shoes and help cleaning the houses.

Dont get your mops, buckets, carbolic acids from the street saller, they are fresh graduate from faculty of economy, bright enaugh to remember "supply and demand principle".

Be convenience when giving any helping hand, a city slicker you might say " hi young fella, I am poor, i have no home, but i have seen a few things.

Keep on going!
